Why Burma Task Force Canada?
Your donations are helping to educate Canadians, change public policy, and keep media in check.
Most people did not know the name "Rohingya" until five years ago when we established Burma Task Force, a coalition of national Muslim organizations.
Food and relief are NOT solutions to counter orchestrated campaigns of massacre, rape, and eviction. Strategic relationships, advocacy, and education are the need of the hour, which is what Burma Task Force is delivering!

- Burma Task Force is the ONLY organization in the world with a dedicated full-time staff working to end the persecution of Rohingya for the past 4 years.
- We were the FIRST organization to act before the latest crackdown in anticipation of this massacre, as the Myanmar Military was building up troops in Rohingya areas and Bangladesh was closing its borders.
- Burma Task Force has been invited to speak to the government on multiple occasions as leading experts on the Rohingya Crisis.
- We are recognized by the UN, giving Burma Task Force UN Status.
- Our work with the Global Affairs Canada office has been critically instrumental in getting our government to take a principled humanitarian stance on the Rohingya genocide.
